Michael Olen, owner of O’LYN Roofing, announces sponsorship of League School’s Annual 5K Walk and Run in Walpole, MA.

WALPOLE, MA- This Saturday, runners, walkers, and strollers will hit the streets of Walpole for the League School’s Annual 5K Walk/Run for autism. This year will be the 3rd annual event, slowly becoming a staple of the community calendar.
O’LYN Roofing, a local roofing company that has been serving the Walpole community for over 40 years, is a proud sponsor this year. The announcement was made by their owner and founder, Michael Olen, who says his company is excited to support a cause so important to their community.
“We are happy to sponsor the League School’s 5K to help make the event both enjoyable and impactful,” said Olen. “Through this sponsorship, we’re able to support an event that unites our local community behind an important and worthy organization.”
The event will take place at Old Post Road Elementary School. All proceeds from the race will benefit the League School of Greater Boston and their community engagement, life skills, and academic programming for students. The League School is a non-profit organization that works with students on the autism spectrum to make sure they have all the resources they need to succeed. All participants receive t-shirts, and there will be awards for the top three men and women in each age group.
“We’re looking forward to a great event this year,” said Olen, “and we’re excited to join our neighbors to raise awareness and funds for children in our community.”
