Who’s Living Under Your Roof?

Every homeowner likes to think that his/her family members are the only ones living under the roof. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case as rodents and other small animals can take up residence in attics and even inside the roofs themselves.

This link from the Huffington Post shows an entire bat colony living inside a tile roof in Florida. Remember that many species, such as bats and bees, are important to local ecosystems. So colonies such as the one in the video should be removed carefully to avoid unnecessary trauma or death to the animals.
