EXPERIENCED ROOFER

As a Carpenter/Roof Technician, you will:

• Meet on-site to evaluate an install or diagnose and repair, adapting solutions on the fly
• Use a smartphone or tablet for data entry and tracking
• Read and follow scope-of-works and contracts
• Drive a company vehicle from site to site
• Complete change orders and create material lists
• Emphasize efficiency and job profitability
• We don’t expect you to lay shingles all day – instead, you’ll be doing smaller, specialized work
• You’ll be working on your own AND on small 2-3 man crews

• Proper communication and project management skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Tech savvy… flip phones need not apply, we use technology extensively
• Pick up, drive, and return company vehicle each day

You are a good fit if you:

• You have carpentry experience, including some roofing experience
• You have experience diagnosing repair issues and determining the correct repair procedure
• You have experience installing skylights and gutter systems
• You have experience with copper, slate, rubber, or flat roofs
• You are a professional and a quick learner with good people skills
• You enjoy solving problems to satisfy customers’ needs
• You are enthusiastic about learning new products and techniques
• 3-5 years of carpentry and/or roofing experience
• English fluency
• Valid and clean Driver’s License
• High School or equivalent experience

Compensation and benefits:

• $25-35/hr, depending on experience
