O’LYN Executive Team Attends PROSULT™ Management Program

O’LYN Roofing’s executive team attended a strategic planning conference hosted by PROOF Management, a business consulting firm for contractors.

Dallas, TX – On February 24th – 26th, O’LYN Roofing’s executive team attended a strategic planning conference hosted by PROOF Management, a business consulting firm for contractors. The firm is known for creating and managing PROSULT™: Professional Consulting through Networking Groups. The invitation-only group brings together top construction and contracting business owners from around the country to meet and share information with the purpose of improving their companies and their industries.

Michael Olen, owner of O’LYN Roofing, explained why his team values this event: “The strength of PROSULT™ is having dozens of business owners from all different geographic regions coming together to work on and advise each other on business decisions. We share our systems, trade secrets, and marketing successes, and serve as valuable business mentors.”  The program consisted of three days of workshops that guided participants through the process of setting goals, establishing accountability, and putting plans in place to better their businesses.

The O’LYN team in attendance included Michael Olen (Founder and Owner), Linda Olen (President), Dan Hamilton (Director of Sales & Marketing), and Todd Mellor (Production Manager). Together, they spent the conference team-building, evaluating O’LYN Roofing’s successes and failures, making concrete plans to improve the organization, and committing to those goals in front of a group of their peers.

“It’s a high-impact, results-oriented event full of workshops that will test your company’s leadership, but ultimately have you leaving with energy and excitement for the upcoming year,” reported Michael Olen.

“The best part of it,” he said, “is the accountability.” Participants are encouraged to share goals and plans with peers to increase the likelihood of follow-through and gather peer and professional feedback.

“It’s a tough three days,” said Michael, “but I know that a stronger management team and a stronger roadmap for the company means happier employees and customers. This program is an investment in our executive team and in our company, and one that I don’t hesitate to make because I trust O’LYN’s current leadership.”

Michael Olen and his team look forward to implementing their learnings from the event and returning to the program next year to announce the achievement of their goals and to set new and higher ones. Olen explained, “We don’t take our reputation as the roofing experts for granted; continual improvement for the sake of our customers and our employees is a cornerstone of our company. We can’t wait to see how far we’ve come at next year’s event.”
