NEMBA is a recreational trails advocacy organization dedicated to taking care of the places that we ride, preserving open space, and educating the mountain bike community about the importance of responsible riding.
NEMBA successfully raised the $210,000 needed to purchase a popular riding area that will be preserved for the benefit of the Town of Milford and the general public as open space in perpetuity. It will balance opportunities for mountain biking and other recreation with resource conservation, while maintaining the existing character of the Upper Charles Headwaters area. NEMBA’s campaign to preserve 47 acres of open space marks the first time that a mountain bike advocacy organization has purchased, owns, and manages its own trail system, and the project marks the largest single investment undertaken by mountain bikers to preserve open space.
O’LYN Contractors, Inc. is proud to support NEMBA’s mission to promote mountain biking, build and care for public trails, and protect open space by joining the organization as an Industry Supporting Member and advertising in Single Tracks Magazine.
