Outside Sales Representative
O’LYN Roofing is seeking goal-oriented, solution-based professional salespeople with in-home sales experience, strong listening and closing skills, and a proven track record of success.
As an outside sales representative, you’ll get leads from the company, meet with and consult homeowners onsite, and close a sale across the roofing, skylight, and gutter categories. You won’t be expected to manage projects… just focus on creating high-quality sales. This is a commission-only position. More commissions would come from you generating your own leads and prospects. Minimal performers can expect to make $70k. Our best performers make upwards of $200k per year.
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners and property managers to sell a variety of services:
- Roofing (new and replacement); Gutters; Roof Cleaning; Ventilation; Flat/Rubber Roofing
- Repairs; Ice Melt Systems; Slate and Copper Work
- Sell at margins that ensure the job can get done on time and under budget
- Focus your time on creating and growing our consumer market
- Follow up on every lead and prospect
- Farm existing customers for referrals
- Create new leads
- Learn and follow our proven sales process
- Participate with our 7+ person sales team for weekly meetings
- Hit monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
- Use a smartphone or tablet for data entry and data tracking
- Utilize a CRM
- Draft, read, and understand contracts
- Drive a company vehicle from site to site
- You WILL be getting up on a roof for inspections
