NORWOOD, MA – Kelly Field is ready for Opening Day thanks to a much-needed upgrade completed last week: the replacement of two dugout roofs, donated and installed by O’LYN Roofing.
After being contacted by Norwood Little League Vice President Steve Trovato, the O’LYN team quickly assessed the condition of the dugouts and found significant wear, including sections of exposed, rotted decking. The project was fast-tracked to ensure the field would be safe, functional, and game-ready for the start of the season.
“Our team knew how important it was to have these dugouts ready for Opening Day,” said Tucker Olen, Head of Marketing at O’LYN Roofing. “The existing roofs had reached the end of their lifespan, so we replaced them with a durable flat rubber roofing system designed to last 20+ years. We’re proud to support a program that means so much to the local community.”
The new roofs not only improve the safety and protection of the players but also enhance the overall appearance of Kelly Field.
With the upgrades completed just in time, Norwood Little League players, coaches, and families can kick off the season with confidence and excitement. O’LYN Roofing has been a longtime supporter of the Norwood community and is honored to contribute to local organizations that bring people together and create lasting impact.
