The Weston Scout House Receives a New Roof Donated by O’LYN Roofing

Weston, Massachusetts (April 25, 2024) – The Weston Scout House is home to the Cub, Boy, and Girl Scouts of Weston, Mass. The one-story Colonial was built in 1941 exclusively for use by the scouts after the Case Estate donated one acre of land to the Weston Scouts. Today it remains an integral part of the Weston Community, serving as a base for the Scout’s weekly meetings and special events.

There are only a handful of these Scout Houses still in existence in Metro West. O’LYN Roofing, a trusted leader in roofing solutions, with over five decades of roofing excellence, proudly donated the new roof in a partnership with Owens Corning.

“We are thrilled to be supported by O’LYN. When we were getting bids to do the roof, they were the only ones who stepped up and offered to donate the entire thing. It means we can put the funds elsewhere. My three sons went through scouts here. We have very fond memories in this place.” said Craig Tanny, Member of the Board of Trustees for the Weston Scout House.”
